Welcome! I am SherriAnne Leslie, creator and founder of Merm’s Treasure Chest. From all who are involved, welcome to our site.
Merm’s Treasure Chest is a concept. “Merm” a term of endearment that my daughters nicknamed me with, the feature designed treasure chest is my own. It was designed and created as a vision representation of all that is most valuable, precious, and dear to me on this planet. Every piece added holds meaning and purpose in my life which are categorized and detailed through my blog posts.
The inspiration for Merm’s Treasure Chest resulted from a “Passion Project ” that a former co-teacher and I implemented with our freshman classes at Lakewood High School. The project was to serve as a final exam in the form of an individualized, student-led, hands on learning and exploration experience where each student chooses anything they are passionate about but have little knowledge of. For example, one student chose to research and build a tropical aquarium in his parent’s home. Another student learned to play the guitar. There were so many incredible projects in the end, but to demonstrate our vision, my co-teacher and I decided to do our own passion projects along without our students. The objective of my passion project was to design a website where I could begin a blog and share some of my life’s most valuable treasures.

Khrystyna & Joshua (+ Noah) were absolutely fantastic house sitters by Lisa. They took great care of our place and our two dodles while we were out for the week. We even had some severe weather threats as we left and they handled all with communication and grace.
They left our place spotless! Seriously, above and beyond!

I recently had the pleasure of welcoming a wonderful family of three into my home to take care of my beloved dog, Lulu, and I am absolutely thrilled with the exceptional service they provided.
From the moment they arrived, it was evident that this husband, wife, and their little boy were not just pet sitters, but caring individuals who went above and beyond to ensure the well-being of both my dog and my home.
Khrystena and Joshua were OFF THE CHARTS wonderful in every way possible! Our dogs were soooo happy, the house was cleaner than when we left (their room looked like a fancy hotel room when we returned home) and they were reliable and excellent at communicating!
